Jahra Pool Reserve was excellent for photographing waders. I spent two hours or so there with Brian. We managed to see many species at close range and in good light conditions.

Common Sandpiper (Actitis hypoleuca)

Wood Sandpiper (Tringa glareola) Two birds ready for duel.

Red-necked Phalarope ( Phalaropus lobatus)

Ruff (Philomachus pugnax)

Little Stint (Calidris minuta)

Curlew Sandpiper (Calidris ferruginea)

White-tailed Lapwing (Vanellus leucurus)
