I visited Al Abraq early morning with Christine in order to face shooters and discuss with them (In Arabic with Christine). For our big surprise we didn’t see any shooter before 7 am. Then we had very constructive and polite conversation with one group of young Kuwaities who were saying as well as showing to us that they had collected all shot birds. Leaflets, that were made by Christine in Arabic, concerning Islam and shooting birds for food seemed to be accepted and understood. Actually the group stopped shooting at this point. Since morning was quiet it was very good for birding and what is even more important it was excellent for photographing birds.
