I visited Al Abraq this morning alone. Almost the first bird that I saw was Eversmann’s Redstart. Male bird showed up very well. Other birders came soon to photograph the bird. I saw also Mustached Warbler, Blue Rock Thrush, Penduline Tit, Little Bittern and Blue-cheeked Bee-eater. After leaving the site I got a text message stating that Hamoud Al Sayji and his friend Abdulaziz Al-Yosouf found Goldcrest. I came back to search that species which is new species for Kuwait if accepted by KORC. I had no luck with Goldcrest.

Yesterday I tried to find Afghan babblers in tradiotional Abdaly site but I couldn’t find them. Instead I came across with big Hypocolius flock. On my way back to Kuwait City I stopped by SAANR. One good wadi  produced Red-tailed Wheatear. However, the trouble is that when Mourning Wheatear arrives it is able to chase R-t. Wheatear away.
