22/10/2011 at Jahra Pool Reserve

I visited in the morning JPR with Mike Newey. Morning was very clear and wind was blowing from North. Raptor migration was good. We saw tens of  Steppe Eagles, two Short-toed Eeagles, Imperial Eagle, Griffon Vulture and Black Stork over there.

Eastern Imperial Eagle Aquila heliaca عُقَابٌ مَلَـكِيَّةٌ شَرْقِيَّةٌ
Steppe Eagle Aquila nipalensis عُقَابٌ سَهْبِيَّةٌ
Eurasian Griffon Vulture Gyps fulvus نَسْرٌ أَوْرَاِسِيٌّ
Black Stork (Ciconia nigra) While checking eagles around I came across with this image. Black Stork is relatively rare bird in Kuwait.
