Striped Crake 1st for Kuwait and third for WP

Photographs of a bird taken on 1st January 2015 in Kuwait was shown recently to birders and was identified as a Striped Crake, Aenigmatolimnas marginalis. Ammar Al-jeraiwi  who found and photographed the bird, said that the bird was initially identified as a Spotted/Little Crake.

    Dear AbdulRahman,
    I note that IOC6.2 has Striped Crake in Aenigmatolimnas as the sole member of that genus. Perhaps all regional records of Spotted Crake might best be re-examined?
