This was another attempt to relocate the suspected Cory’s or Streaked Shearwater. We set out in the afternoon and searched offshore for four hours but were unable to find any shearwaters.

Towards the end of the trip, however, we relocated the Sooty Gull. We congratulated Mohammad Alazmi, who had not taken part in the previous week’s pelagic trip and was therefore able to see the bird for the first time.
