Birds Sightings from Kuwait: owned and managed by AbdulRahman Al-Sirhan

It seems that migration is slow probably because the rainy season this year so there are many insects to catch and birds are not in a hurry. Breeding birds with chicks all over the site, but couldn’t relocate the Water rails although I saw a bird that looked like one. Water Rails has bred last and this year and seem to be resident. I also saw two chicks of the Grey-headed Swamphen. Red-wattled Lapwing attempting breeding a second time after what appeared to be a fox that predated its eggs, While White-tailed Lapwing becoming hard to see probably incubating eggs. The Pied Kingfisher pair is still active and probably building its nest, it will be the first breeding record if confirmed breeding, although it was seen building a nest last month but it abandoned it.
