06/10/2011 at Pivot Field relocating the Pectoral Sandpiper

This morning Ahmed Riyad and I went to Pivot Field to relocate the Pectoral Sandpiper found and photographed Yesterday by Rashed Al-Hajji. After two hours search we were then called by Mahmoud Shehab that he has relocated the bird following his directions we found the bird together with a Wood Sandpiper that is distinctly larger than the Pectoral Sandpiper. The bird appeared to be in a juvenile plumage with fresh feathers, short legged with long toes. Thanks to Rashed for finding the bird.
