10/12/2012 at Jahra Pool Reserve and Jahra Farms
This morning I visited first Al Abraq without seeing anything interesting. After that I visited Jahra Pool Reserve relocating Ferruginous Duck as well as some other species. At Jahra Farms I stopped at the area between the mosque and Ali’s Farm since I heard an interesting call on last Thursday without seeing the bird. This turned out to be Hume’s Leaf Warbler as I initially thought. I managed to get only very poor record shot showing one clear wing-bar. Main ID feature was the call itself that is different compared to Yellow-browed Warbler.
