Migration has already begun. Migratory wheatears such as Pied, Northern, and Eastern Black-eared Wheatears are now moving through the area and becoming more common at this time of year.

The migratory Byzantine Stonechat Saxicola maurus variegatus is currently passing through Kuwait, while the wintering Caspian Stonechat Saxicola maurus hemprichii is also on the move, so both forms are being seen at the moment.
